Hello, I'm Barbs! I graduated from Seven Lakes HS in Katy, TX & drill team has been a part of my life ever since! From Rangerettes, to Aggieland, I am now in my 6th year as a dance educator in the Houston area. Outside of dance, I am very involved with the youth ministry program at my church. I have witnessed people find truth and radically transform their lives to serve and glorify Jesus in all they do (which is hard in our world today). Ministry is what sets my soul on fire. My goal in the dance community is to integrate who we love most and what we love most! I can only offer the gifts I've been given and facilitate a weekend to encounter Him, but I know what He offers in return surpasses our expectations in every way.
I have served and helped plan over 17 retreats in the last 5 years, and it is incredible to see the fruits of stepping away from our busy life to grow closer with God. This will be my 3rd year hosting Behold Christian Retreat. It is truly my favorite retreat of the year! There is something to be said about pouring back into the community that continues to give me so much. Let's share the good news and be a vessel for His Kingdom, sisters! I hope to see you there.

What is the Cancellation policy?

Free Cancellation until September 10th.

Can I pay through my booster club or school budget?

You can definitely try to get it approved since we are an official LLC and providing PD hours!

Who can attend this retreat?

This is for ALL dance educators, choreographers, and anyone who works for a company that serves the dance community or any “retired” professionals!​

Will there be food accommodations?

Yes, you will be able to list your food allergies and dietary needs when you register.

Are cell phones allowed during retreat?

Cell phone use is not encouraged since our goal is to step away from our busy life and to be fully present during the weekend but participants can check in with family as much as they need.

At what time does Behold start?

Check- In will begin on Saturday, October 11th at 6:30pm. The retreat will officially commence at 7:00pm.

Retreat will end on Monday (October 13th) at 10am.

How is the roommate situation determined?

You will receive an email closer to retreat containing a rooming preference form. If you don't know anyone, don't worry! People who were assigned random roomies last year are besties now!

Yes, when you register it will ask for T-shirt size.
